I've completely neglected my DA for almost three years, due to a number of things. Time, sheer apathy, finishing school, dissatisfaction with my art, finding a job, etc. It was a weird time for me.. DA wasn't really working for me for whatever reason. Something didn't click any more.. I kept wondering why my cruddy fan art wasn't getting a lot of hits. (Hint: Fan art of unpopular things)
Discouraged, I then looked toward Tumblr, and that was neat for a while. I even made it my .com name! And I found a bunch of awesome artists there. After awhile, I then moved to Twitter, which I found even more wonderful artists! (And Instagram too, but that is just for showing off sketches and toys.) And through following those artists, I was lead back to my old friend, DeviantArt.. I guess I couldn't avoid it. Now with greater knowledge, skill, and realistic expectations, I decided to come back and post the art I've done since I left. I plan on integrating with all my "networks." If anyone reads this, I hope they would like to follow me on them. I got three years of art for everyone to see!
So for the people who kept following me, thank you sooooo much, I appreciate it and hope you look forward to my new artwork. And to any potential new followers, hello! I like robots and kung fu! Thanks again everyone, I hope you enjoy the work I post!
While I'll still post fan art, I have a couple BIG projects coming up, some nearing completion. So unlike that comic I posted about three years ago, (Which never got colored by me due to a ton of inside politics. I had to walk away. Yuck.) these will be fully imagined creations! So stay tuned.
