Hello everyone, I've completely neglected my DA for almost three years, due to a number of things. Time, sheer apathy, finishing school, dissatisfaction with my art, finding a job, etc. It was a weird time for me.. DA wasn't really working for me for whatever reason. Something didn't click any more.. I kept wondering why my cruddy fan art wasn't getting a lot of hits. (Hint: Fan art of unpopular things) Discouraged, I then looked toward Tumblr, and that was neat for a while. I even made it my .com name! And I found a bunch of awesome artists there. Most of my recent work has been for a comic series by Arcana Comics called Daddy's Little Girl. Illustrated by Steve Sistilli (of Koni Waves fame) and colored by Dexter Weeks (who's now working on Avengelyne with Rob Liefield!!) I hope it does really well. How do I fit in? Well they asked me to do some artwork!! Egads! The book I think should be due out by NYCC time, so hopefully some of you will check it out. I'm thrilled that they gave me the opportunity to do some artwork for them. And from what I read, the book is pretty good. Makes me want some old school horror comics.
